PEOPLE

The best people. We are obsessed with hiring and developing the best individuals. Provide opportunities, measure results, develop, and reward the top professionals. The right people are our greatest asset.

Learn every day. Everywhere: in your day-to-day, with your team, from others (friends, professionals, clients, etc.), from books, etc. Continuous learning is essential for your personal development and that of the company.

Leadership. Know how to lead a team that executes. Find the right path. Correct a wrong one. Own up to your mistakes. Learn from them. Teach a lot.

Humanize management. Celebrate, provide constant feedback, be friendly, etc. Managing a company is managing people: who enjoy having fun, being treated well, conversing, etc.

MINDSET

Think about the company. Not just your area. Perform your job, but get involved in other departments, understand how they function, offer suggestions, etc. We are all in the same boat. Know where and how it sails.

Improve everything constantly. Think every day about how our product and processes can improve forever. Jot down your ideas, talk to the people you work with, and implement improvements. In other places, this is called “kaizen” or, if you prefer, continuous improvement.

Think big, execute small. Flirt with the unthinkable but don’t forget to handle the day-to-day. Decide what you think is best and do it. You are here for that. Be careful not to delay decisions. If you make a mistake, take responsibility and correct it quickly. We need to take a step forward every day.

Communicate. Directly, transparently, and politely. Talk openly with people. Make suggestions, complaints, share concerns, mistakes, successes, etc. Avoid intermediaries. Speak directly to the person you want to talk to – no matter the department, hierarchy, etc. Frankness is essential.

Share the profit. We have an aggressive variable compensation policy. We want everyone who works like an owner to be compensated like an owner. Demand results and distribute the results.

DAY-TO-DAY

Passion or nothing. We work passionately in a company we are passionate about. We do not believe in work without passion.

Ethics is non-negotiable. We never compromise on doing what is best for the world and for ourselves. There are no shortcuts to building a great company. A small ethical slip is a big slip. We will only be a healthy company if we operate in a healthy world.

Live in reality. No report illustrates reality better than reality itself. Get your hands dirty to discover problems and get hands-on to solve them. Reality is irreplaceable.

Simplify. Find simple solutions to complex problems. Complex solutions are time-consuming, difficult, expensive, and prone to many errors. For almost every complex problem, there is a simple solution. Find it.

Control costs. We work hard to sell real estate, but it is impossible to predict revenue exactly. Cost is an item that is entirely in our hands, and we cannot let it slip away.

Work as you want. We are not interested in how many hours you spend in the office. In fact, we strongly encourage you to work outside of it – in the field, at stands, on plots, in construction sites, etc., where things actually happen.

Focus on results. Result is the company’s net profit. Never forget that without profit, a company dies.

The customer is us. We always think from the customer’s point of view: about price, product, campaign, everything. We have to treat them with genuine care. The customer perceives fake attempts to please them and is enchanted when they realize that the effort to please them is sincere.

Think globally. Wonderful things happen in the world every day. Know what is happening elsewhere, adapt, and apply the best ideas here.
